Get Rid Of The Advertisements

FOR JUST A PENNY

I WAS WALKING DOWN
THE PATH. NOTHING
THERE BUT ME AND THE
GRASS. I WAS KICKING
CANS AND HUMMING A
TUNE. THINKING I MIGHT
GO TO THE MOON.

WHEN I LOOKED DOWN AND
WHAT DID I SEE? A BRIGHT
SHINY PENNY LOOKING UP
AT ME. I PICKED IT UP AND
BRUSHED IT OFF AND STUCK
IT IN MY POCKET

I HAPPENED TO THINK THAT'S
ALL I HAVE, NOT ANOTHER
CENT TO MY NAME, BUT I
LAUGHED TO MYSELF AND SAID
' THANK YOU LORD ' I DON'T
HAVE MONEY BUT I HAVE YOU

I'M NOT SICK, AND I DO HAVE
A GOOD PLACE TO STAY. I'LL
GET A JOB WITH YOUR HELP
AND SOMEDAY I'LL HAVE MORE
THAN A PENNY, ANYWAY.'

My thinking a moment right now is
Telling me be patient
Cause something is going to
Happen you’ll
see.

No frills
