I Once Could Have Danced All Night Not N

Just for the love of it
I put on some 60's tunes
Danced to the rock and roll playing
But learned my lesson soon

The hips I once could swivel
Seemed now quite locked in place
Threw out my knee, yelled out in pain
Thank goodness for knee brace

My feet seemed to go nowhere
I resembled a slightly moving statue
Quite frankly I looked as if
If had had quite a few (too many that is)

So I sat down on the chair nearby
As the music flowed through my head
Decided to forget the dancing
And sang the songs instead
