Get Rid Of The Advertisements

YELLOW BIRD

A yellow bird has found a home
In my backyardís surrounding wood,
And he sings a song so bright and gay,
Iíd watch him (if only I could).

Iíve seen him in the camelia,
And upon the wisteria lid,
And once amongst the roses,
Or at least I thought I did.

And I wonder why he sings his song
For all the world to hear,
But hides himself the whole day long,
Perhaps itís out of fear...

That by letting out the secret
Of his sunny breast he may
Catch the eye of some beholder
And give himself away.
