The Garden
The Garden

I am there now with my mom
Strolling along the brick laid paths
Walking slowly to make this vision last
Seeing the pride witin your eyes...

Your soiled hands planted each one just so
How we all loved to watch them grow
Potted plants all over the deck
An array of colors found
We won't forget...

Now a legacy left to us all
For I see you now wherever I go
As beautiful as the flowers you made grow
Yet sorrow does come to me
When I see flowers everywhere...

I remember you Mom in your flower beds
I know you are in a garden now
Where sunmer never ends
I see you mom each morning
When I arise..

For I have flowers of my own now
But I claim the neighbors as mine too
I see you there with a smile on your face
Moving the flowers that look out of place...

I love you Mom my dearest friend
We will meet again in Heaven
Where ever you are
I know you are with me now
In your gardens in Heaven...
