Dessert is sitting on the table
Flames burning on top
Confections topping it off
Coloring is showing in the sculpture
A dairy dish is melting at the side
Statues are giggling in the streets
The party is roaring in the house
You are growing into a man
Gifts are lining the room
We are eating the dessert.
This poem was entered into a contest on another site. The contest was called 'Taboo words' and listed certain words you were not allowed to use. The goal was to describe a birthday cake without using the words.
