Get Rid Of The Advertisements

The Angles Were There

I remember that beautiful Rose window
In the Cathedral of Notre Dame.
So heartbreaking to watch the news.
The spires destroyed by flames.

The window was unscathed ,
But the steeples are gone.
The people of France will rebuild.
God's Cathedral will live on.

I feel so blessed to have seen it.
I believe Angels spread wings to protect.
Flames cannot destroy the beauty
Of the ancient work so perfect.
