Dressed in scarlet gown
She walked through the door
so beautiful to look at. She
was wearing a scarlet gown.
She had a scarlet ribbon tied
in her hair, there was a glow
about her face. That was
perfect with out a trace.
Her beau took her by hand
and they glided across the
floor, every eye was on her
she was so beautiful as they
strolled close to the door.
Scarlet ribbons in her hair
and a smile that would light
up the air, and from the
shadows I saw the gold
in her hair.
