Happy Retirement?

Guess you may be the lucky one,
happily retired before Enron.
Me? Like so many others
stock market crashes
have my dreams smothered.
No lazydays for me it seems,
restful retirement now just a dream.
What of the architects
of these corporate disasters?
Any chance they may
face a final judgement day?
Not much hope of that.
But all is not lost,
we've all been told
we can carry on working
'til we drop.
