In A Short Moment
You wrapped me in your embrace
and kissed me softly in my hair.
Our fingers traced one others hands
within those moments you were there.
The world didn't exist at the time
for it was just you and I.
Then when you said you had to leave
I could feel my heart quitely cry.
So once again you kissed me softly
and took me deep within your embrace.
I kissed you tenderly upon your lips
watching the smile light up your face.
Within those few blissful moments
out the door you slowly walked away.
I watched for a bit with saddness
then I too slowly walked away...
