My Mother-in-Law
She is my husband's mother,
On this earth,she's like no other.
An angel sent from above,
A big heart full of love.
Always helping others,
She became my second mother.
I fell in love with her son,
And her daughter-in-law,I did become.
She welcomed me into the family,
And can handle any calamity.
With a grace beyond compare,
For me,she's always been there.
So patient with everyone,
So much she has accomplished,
So much she has done.
She was a nurse,a few years back,
Worked hard all her life,she never slacked.
Always taking care of others,
It is her life's calling.
She lifts people up,
When their spirits are falling.
Her faith is steadfast,honest,and true,
And I truly believe,
There's nothing she can't do.
Hilda,my dear,of you I'm completely in awe,
And I am so proud to say,
That I am your daughter-in-law.
Dedicated to my dear mother-in-law,Mrs. Hilda Cox,
for without you,I wouldn't have my dear husband.
