Where Are You?

Every night is the same, climbing into bed.
Gathering the pillows around me
wishing they were you instead.
Where are you?

An empty place beside me
an aching in my heart
how long will this suffering be?
Where are you?

I close my eyes, my thoughts start to drift
tightly gripping the covers
Is there anyone out there to heal this rift?
Where are you?
