The Storyteller: Renewed Faith
The Storyteller:
Renewed Faith

Misbegotten faith of lies, pain
The ultimate price for mistrust.
Her wicked stories grasp his heart,
What there is left to give away.
Deceitful games of charm and poise
Hiding the serpents tongue again.
How his life should have ended when
His queen was carried from the fray.
Years mourning unnoticed, in vain
Longing for her that made him whole
And nothing. Emptiness remains.
Once bound, now forever apart.
But the spark beckons to the sane
Part of him left. The search must start.
Recall, a hard task for the torn
Mind of pained memory. What once
Was a quickened action now sways
In turmoil and melancholy.
But persevere he must to find
A gilded blade of legend. Sworn
To defend the realm of his love.
The trail of his true destiny.
In the ruins, twas left forlorn
By the knight defeated in heart
And awaits his foretold return.
A new battle of circumstance.
With renewing faith along worn
Paths he will ride for one last chance.
The search continues………………..
