Where did you go?
You went away.
Was it so bad,
that you just couldn't stay?
Did I not show you,
how much I care?
How did I miss it?
How will I bare?
I know you were hurting,
Your tears I could see.
but now by leaving,
your pain is on me.
So precious is life
and delicate too.
Unanswered questions
and dreams unglued.
Why did you leave us?
Why did you go?
Didn't you think?
Didn't you know?
Your pain is no longer.
You'll never feel blue,
yet so is your future
and your happiness too.
This wondrous sunrise
you'll never see,
just cause you thought
it could never be.
Did I not show you,
how much I care?
How I will miss you.
How much we shared.
The tears on my pillow,
sad songs that I sing,
will fade like the winter
and welcome the spring.
