I Love You, Mom

Lying next to my son last night
With fever it gave me a fright
I thought of things that I could do
And then began to think of you

You were the one who held me tight
Got up in the heart of the night
Cleaned my mess and gave me a hug
Comforted me, your beetle bug

More than ever I cherish you
Things you did but didn’t have to
All the pain you had to endure
The love you give is more than pure

Now it is time for me to say
I think of you everyday
I Love you more than life itself
Your precious love is my wealth
