Loving The Wrong Man
loving the wrong man
is what i do best-
the distant man
the man already taken
the forbidden one
who can't quite
get it (whatever
it is)
right at home
and you (with all
of your charms)
i'll probably end up
disliking you too
after i have gotten
all of the love
that i can get (although
i can't even imagine
that now) as we stand
here puffing on
our cigarettes
alone for the very
first time
making polite conversation
and sharing a
few good stares
