It Sure Won't Be You
I may be a little lonesome
and feel like crying my eyes out tonight
i may need a little loving
from a good man who will treat me right
but it won't be you, babe
now that we're through it sure won't be you
i won't shed another tear over you
i am not going to worry about you anymore
you think i still love you and
i'll start back writing to you
but i don't trust your love like before
you were the one that i adored and
i trusted you with my whole heart and soul
but what can i do when i am feeling blue
over all of the things about you
that you claimed were true
i want a love that won't let me down
i need someone who will listen
and try to understand
you have lied to me so many times
now i can seei would be better off
without you and while i could
use a man to hold on to
darling, it won't be you know it's true
that it sure won't be you
