11:59 (revised)

Midnight’s kiss not far along
As souls of stardust dance outside the window
Swaying trees in vernal bliss
Awaiting the new arrival

And dreams unfettered by a tame less night
Bite at the lashes of a weary mind
Begging the hour and a new page to turn

For a moment
All of the moments stood still
As they gathered to meet the beauty of your face
And no amount of memory could replace
The joy within my sacred heart

A new day has begun

Thoughts only thoughts
Tide my heart
Until your breath is near
Cecelia’s beauty reigns
