Treasured Moments In The Summer Time

Treasured moments of the past,
vacation times come into play,
memories, those wonderful
memories of the golden days,
when mother nature played
a large part of my life..

Miles and miles camping from
one camp ground to another,
a very speical life camping from
one camp grouind to the next,
in the summertime..

A three week get away, every
year, in a trailor made for five,
life is different, eating under
the wide open spaces..

Meeting new people from each
place you been, and a sweet
good-bye to each one when
it's time to depart..

Swimming in the great lakes,
with waves to jump and play,
make you feel so fresh in
the summer time..

Pine trees and the whipperwills,
sounds just great in the evening,
under the black velvet skies.while
the cool breeze kisses your cheek
passing silently by..

Nothing is like camping, three
weeks every year, it is fun
with great delight, knowing you
will once again be on the road
carrying trailor behind you..

Those are my foundest memories
with the smell of mountain air,
the stars you can almost touch
in the skies above, treasured
memories captured never
forgotten..
