Letting Go
Sifting through so many dark days
in the pounding of a battered heart
the light has gone away
now that we've been torn apart
we spent much time together
those were the tender years
now you've left me alone
standing here in tears
it all went away
to corrupt the night
everything began to get dark
the emptiness was void of light
you were most tender angel
had came to give me the grace
I could only stare at
the beauty of your face
now,you've been away
for such a very long time
it feels like such a waste
it's all buried in a rhyme
we can never turn around
to go into that again
you should never come back around
and just let it all end
