Psalm 1 -- Don't Fret about the Wicked.

Be heedless to the claim
We must respond in kind
In evil's clever game.
Walk upright. Pay no mind.

Don't cast eyes on sinners,
To thwart or jeer their deeds.
Join the ranks of winners,
The just man, God's law reads.

Seek the source of power,
Refreshment in the drought.
Bounteous fruit and flower
Not envy, spite or doubt.

Desert parched, the profane
Will vanish in the gust.
Waste on them no disdain.
For God's word only, lust.
