There comes a Howling

There comes howling
that rigid in its core outflows
bangs itself in reverberating notes
between the walls and the floor
These bouncing, inconsiderate
half sprung emotions
that tide to the shore of hope, despair
seems ever here present, conquering
enveloping all within its folds
concealing the secrets
all those unsaid, unused moments
where words never danced, never flew
nor drew upon their rich boundaries
Left empty and bare, naked to time.
Everything that within filled my spaces
those now haunting visions of what ifs
that scourge me here deep long
to the bitter agony of what went unsaid
laid dead upon the inner dimensions
that word that would have changed
drew a new Dawn, dressed your form
and would have walked upon eternity's barriers
To have said I love you.
