Perfect Living Memory
here is a spot I know will be, the perfect living memory,|
for here life's' peace lies so subdued, by the power of
beauty I have viewed; tis true that natures' gifts so vast
have memories to give which last and last, the peace
so often I have sought, tis all quite free, need not be
bought. Just spend some time amongst this green,
which shimmers so softly, slightly unseen, you'll find so
relaxing and pleasant as well, this place within nature
where beauty doth dwell.
God gave us this world to see and enjoy,
the wonders around us he does deploy, so love and esteem it,
care for it too, for this is Gods' gift, He has given to you.
How often I've trodden its' paths made with love,
through the wonderful, caring Creator above, He blessed
its' cool river so shallow yet free, and nourished each
flower and each towering tree. This wonderful heaven, He
made on this earth, but we have to show Him, our
true honest worth, for beauty eternal shall rest in this spot,
the essence and meaning of love to us brought. Cherish each
moment which passes your way, for you'll find some small wonder
with each passing day. Then here is a spot which I know will be,
a perfect and lasting great memory, when I return once more to its'
grace, treading so softly, upon that great place, then I will realize my
searching is o'er, for here in abundance are riches galore.
