For Skybrush

A collaboration for our Trail Boss

Dale---
Howdy Sky-- Come on and set awhile.
Ol Bubby heard your horse snort
You ought to a seen him smile.
There's some campfire coffee brewed
And some sourdough and beans.
We been chewing and jawing for a while
Recalling our youthful dreams.

I'm told your lady's been sick a spell
And has crossed the great divide.
I been there friend.
It hurts like hell.
And tears don't leave a man much pride.

Pride is not a big thing with us
And tears can ease the heart.
We are here for you without no fuss
Just the friendship in our hearts.

Hey trail Boss-come on in
We have shoulders wide as forever
Our trails have crossed many a path
But did we give up? Never!!

Sometimes the winds come calling
Heaven knows it's all the same
Sometimes we conquer mountains
Sometimes we pull up lame

We are here for the listenin'
We know how it feels inside
Lets just keep her memory warm
and save it for our last ride

The coffee's on and brewin'
Jimbo has settled the herd
We are here dear brother
You just say the word

Jimbo and Bub
