FOOLISH LOVE

Sister Lou was feeling blue
she needed someone to talk too.
She met a man, it was her plan
to be his friend as long as she can.

Matched well, she could tell
things were progressing swell.
He held her tightly, almost nightly
while the moon was shining brightly.

He wined her and he dined her
like a cozy kitten she did purr.
Whispers in her ear she wanted to hear
may he always stay this near.

She felt like a teen or a queen
floating feelings were serene.
Smiles upon her face all the miles
unaware of all his wiles.

For awhile his kiss was bliss
just couldn't get better than this.
Romance began to cool, felt like a fool
no longer was he her shining jewel.

Like the birds were his words
flying around toward the nerds.
He thought it funny, like a bunny
hippidy, hoppidy to another hunny.

Spreading passion, without fashion
giving no one a strict ration.
Freely giving, leaving hearts grieving
lots of joy he was receiving.

Many hearts bled, when he fled
remembering things he had said.
Man of their dreams, not as it seems
regretting their passionate screams.

Without affection in every direction
they look for his reflection.
Lesson learned, will he return
his well being is now his concern.

Happy early April Fools Day
