Hello Starliter's,

First off, I would like to introduce myself to you all; I am Steve Poore, aka "Poison9901". I have been a member of the Starlite Community for many years now, I have had the privilege of meeting many up and coming poets here within Starlite and have made many friends. Many have come to Starlite, and many have left for reasons unknown, but it seems to me, they always find their way back home. I have also seen so many, pass within these walls, and their time here with us was cut way to short, yet there words and their memories remain. I have been writing poetry for many years now, and know the thrill that one gets when your words are published not only in Books, but also to a website that reaches such a vast audience as Starlite does.

I am proud to announce to all, that I have been offered the amazing opportunity to purchase Starlite, My intent here is to follow the dreams of those before me, and to enhance it with my own; to build Starlite to a community of Poets everyone is proud to be a part of.

The transition I am sure, will not be without a few hiccups as is everything, it will be a journey of learning for all of us. I included. Devin will remain as a liaison for a few weeks, aiding me as much as possible until I am able to successfully take full control of Starlite, and begin building onto his dream as well as mine.

I have so many ideas that will help us make Starlite one of the most desirable places to be, to post and Showcase your works of Poetry. Starlite was built with a goal and a dream in mind at its conception, "I am not Albert, nor Cheesemaker, nor am I Devin", but we all share the same dream, the same common goal. To create a community of Poets, who all share the same love of writing, learning and growing into the Number One Poetry Site on the web.

I look forward to this journey, and getting to know and meet so many of you along the way. I know for a while, it will be like learning to walk all over again, but I feel with time, patience and persistence, "I, We" will overcome every obstacle placed before us. And we will do it with pride, knowing that we are not only building a better home for us, but for all involved as well.

Take care my Friends,
Steve
